The mission of Corporate Contributions and Community Relations is to channel both our financial and human capital into the support of innovative programs that foster the development of new skills and nurture human potential. To accomplish this, The McGraw-Hill Companies offers a variety of programs that assist nonprofit organizations, provide academic scholarships, and support its employees' commitment to giving back to their communities.
Arts & Entertainment Program
In recognition of The McGraw-Hill Companies' contributions to many nonprofit arts and cultural institutions, a number of museums, theatres and similar organizations offer our employees free or reduced admission upon presentation of The McGraw-Hill Companies Arts & Entertainment (A&E) Card.
United Way
For more than 55 years The McGraw-Hill Companies has been supporting the United Way. Employee contributions are matched dollar-for-dollar included in the annual $3,000 per year Matching Gift maximum.
Matching Gift
When our employees make a contribution to a qualified education, literacy or arts & culture organization, The McGraw-Hill Companies will match their gift dollar-for-dollar up to $3,000 per year.
Employee Volunteer Support Program
To encourage employee volunteer participation in local nonprofit community organizations, The McGraw-Hill Companies provides supplementary financial support to those eligible organizations on behalf of our employees. Individual and team grants are available.

As part of the Corporation's philanthropic efforts, The McGraw-Hill Companies supports innovative programs and initiatives that increase the abilities of people around the world to learn, to grow intellectually, to master new skills, and to maximize their individual talents for school, work and community.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Merit Scholarship
Each year, The McGraw-Hill Companies' scholarship program, administered by National Merit Scholarship Corporation, awards up to 20 four-year scholarships to outstanding students who are children of our employees.
Minority MBA & Teaching Scholarship Program
As part of our philanthropic efforts, The McGraw-Hill Companies is sponsoring a number of scholarships for a diverse base of students doing graduate work in business and education and for urban teachers pursuing national board certification.
Morris High School Scholarship and Mentoring Program
The McGraw-Hill Companies has built a partnership with Morris High School in New York City that includes an annual scholarship program, mentoring opportunities for employees and faculty development.
